How commission works

What counts as a "Fabiale booking"?
A Fabiale booking is one where the couple found you through the directory, reached out through your Fabiale listing, and confirmed a booking. Direct referrals, returning clients, and leads from your own marketing are never subject to commission.
How is the 5% calculated?
It's 5% of the booking total — not the deposit. For example, a $3,000 wedding photography booking generates a $150 Fabiale commission. This is reported monthly and collected via Stripe.
What if a couple contacts me through Fabiale but pays me directly?
We track the source of every inquiry. If the booking originated from your Fabiale listing, the commission applies regardless of how payment is processed. We rely on vendors to report honestly — and it keeps the directory healthy for everyone.
When does commission collection start?
Commission tracking is powered by Stripe Connect, which we're rolling out in the coming months. During the launch period, commission is tracked manually. We'll notify all vendors before automated collection begins — early vendors will get plenty of notice.
